Linksys' SimpleTap technology makes it easier than ever to setup your wireless network and connect Wi-Fi devices to it. Plus, with a Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Router, you can use SimpleTap technology to easily connect devices to the network using WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup™) through your Linksys Smart Wi-Fi account and/or mobile app.

Also, included with your Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Router AC 1750 is a SimpleTap card which helps you to connect your Wi-Fi devices that are NFC-enabled to your home network. You must be in range of your router to use the SimpleTap card.

Current NFC-enabled, compatible devices that you can connect using the SimpleTap card are available here: http://www.nfcworld.com/nfc-phones-list/ Device compatibility may vary depending on device version, market, and carrier*.

If a device is not compatible, this does not negatively affect your ability to get your device on the network. The SimpleTap card is merely an additional method to simplify the task of adding supported NFC-enabled Wi-Fi devices to the wireless network.

To use the SimpleTap card included with your Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Router AC 1750:

  1. Install and open the Cisco Connect Cloud mobile app on your NFC-enabled mobile device.
  2. Tap your included card on your mobile device to connect it to your wireless network.
