Ports cutting outVery easy to set up. Worked well for around eight months. Then started having issues with ports cutting out. Have to reboot multiple times to get all ports back online. Will be looking for a replacement.

Nice little 16 port PoE switchBought this a couple of weeks ago to replace a noisy, PoE switch in my home office. It's a great small size, fan less, quiet switch with support for PoE. Great purchase so far!
Our LGS116P has several WAPs connected to ports 3-7 that are working properly. Ports 13 and 14 are connected to Smart TVs that can normally access the networks movie server. There is no communication with the TV's currently. How do I troubleshoot this?

Hello, I am looking for a switch to use for an IP camera system integrated with our Multiplexing system Ethernet. I am wondering if it will work in a 48VDC supply situation, if the cameras do not require 54VDC, or if you have one that is 48VDC.

You say this device is unmanaged and has QOS. I have looked all over the place to find a description of how the QOS works. I cannot find anything that describes it. My question is if I have an ip telephone which I want to guarantee QOS-how to do this?
Asked by: SeekingWIsdom
Hi. The QoS is defined by your main router. Auto-sensing ports automatically optimize speed for each connected device.

Hi - the power spec for this switch (LGS116P) says 54V DC; For LGS124P, the spec clearly says "Power Input is 100-240V AC". Does this switch (LGS116P) take 100-240V AC? Whats does 54v DC mean? Can I just plug this in a power socket with 220V (overseas)?
Asked by: Magh K
Hi Magh K. 54V DC is the Power Output of the LGS116P. For the Power Input, they have the same with LGS124P; 100-240V AC, which will work with 220V.

This switch has cameras connected to it. Another non-POE switch has data ports. Is the best topology to Daisy chain the two switches or to connect each switch directly to router? If I daisy-chain, do I need to configure the DTP switchport settings?
Asked by: NEWBIE4021
Hi, NEWBIE4021. The LGS116P has both PoE and Data ports that are auto-sensing. If you need to have more ports, then you may connect another network switch to any of the ports in the LGS116P using the regular/standard ethernet cable (Cat5, Cat5e or Cat6). No configuration needed as it is a non-manageable and a plug and play switch.
