The following article will explain how to assign a static IP address to your network storage.
NOTE: When changing the LAN IP address of the network attached storage; make sure it uses the same segment as your network. By default, network storage does not have a static IP address. If you want to set specific network settings, select this option.
Changing the NAS’ LAN IP Address
You can change the LAN IP Address of the network attached storage by performing the following steps:
Access the network storage’s web-based setup page. For instructions, click here.
NOTE: If you are using Mac to access the network storage's web-based setup page, click here.
On the Setup page, click Administration.
Select Fixed IP Address then change IP Address to “192.168.2.77”
NOTE: This assumes that the IP Address of the network is 192.168.2.1.
NOTE: The network attached storage will reboot after applying these settings. The IP address “192.168.2.77” will be used to open the web-based setup page.
