FIRMWARE UPGRADE METHOD
The Linksys WAG320N is a Dual-Band Wireless-N ADSL2+ Modem Router with Gigabit ports that offer fast connectivity for wired devices. It’s an all-in-one ADSL2+ modem, router, wireless access point, and 4-port switch. It has selectable Radio band to avoid interference.
The default IP address is 192.168.1.1. The default username and password is admin.
There are two (2) ways to reset the WAG320N to factory defaults. Either press and hold the Reset button for approximately five (5) seconds, or restore to defaults from the Administration > Factory Defaults screen of the web-based setup page.

The WAG320N supports the following Internet connection types:
• RFC 2364 PPPoA
• RFC 2516 PPPoE
• RFC 2684 Routed
• RFC 2684 Bridged
• Bridged Mode Only
The WAG320N supports the following security modes:
• 64/128-bit WEP
• WPA/WPA2 Personal
• WPA Mixed
The Media Server is a built-in feature in the WAG320N web-based setup page that allows you to stream music, pictures and videos from the USB disk to a media adapter, such as PlayStation3 or Xbox 360.
To know more about this feature, access the modem router’s web-based setup page and go to Storage > Media Server then click the Help… link on the right panel. To access the ADSL gateway’s web-based setup page, click here.
The Shared Folder, which is also found in the web-based setup page, is a feature that lets you manage the shared folders that exist on the WAG320N. It’s a folder on the modem router that you can access through the network.

The default SSID is linksys.
POWER (Green) – The Power LED lights up and stays on while the gateway is powered ON.
ETHERNET 1, 2, 3, 4 (Green) – These numbered LEDs corresponding with the numbered ports on the gateway's back panel serve two purposes. If the LED is continuously lit, the gateway is successfully connected to a device through that port. It flashes to indicate network activity over that port.
WI-FI PROTECTED SETUP™ (WPS) – The WPS LED flashes green when you press the button to allow Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ to search for your WPS-supported wireless device.
WIRELESS (Green) – The Wireless LED lights up when the wireless feature is enabled. It flashes when the Gateway is actively sending or receiving data over the network.
USB (Green) – The USB LED lights up when there is an external storage device connected to the USB port of the gateway.
DSL (Green) – The DSL LED lights up whenever there is a successful DSL connection. The LED flashes while the gateway is establishing the ADSL connection.
INTERNET (Green) – The Internet LED lights up and stays on when there is a connection made through the Internet port. It flashes to indicate network activity over the Internet port.
Make sure the gateway is using AES encryption or none at all. If the WAG320N is using WEP or TKIP algorithms, the throughput between the gateway and the wireless device will be drastically reduced.
FIRMWARE UPGRADE METHOD
On the web-based setup page, go to Administration tab > Firmware Upgrade. Select the file to upgrade by using the Browse button and then click Upgrade. Do not reset or powercycle the unit while it is upgrading.
