ways in resetting the E2500 to factory defaults:
- Press and hold the Reset button located at the bottom of your router for 10 seconds.
- Log in to the router’s web-based setup page then go to Administration > Factory Defaults > Restore Factory Defaults.

You are only able to connect a USB printer using Linksys Connect on the Linksys E2500 v3. 3. What is the default IP address, Username, and Password used to log in to the E2500’s web-based setup page?
The default IP address of E2500 is 192.168.1.1
. There is no username and admin

If the router is configured using the Linksys Connect software, the new wireless security key will also be the router's password. If you are using an older version of Linksys Connect, it is not advisable to change the router's password using the web-based setup page once the password has been configured using Linksys Connect since this will cause the software to stop working. is the last five (5)
digits of the serial number of the router. You have to upgrade your firmware to have LinksysXXXXX

is a feature that allows you to set up public services on your network, such as web servers, FTP servers, email servers or other specialized Internet applications. 2. What is Port Triggering? Port Triggering
is an application that allows you to trigger port/s based on the incoming port specified. 3. What is MAC Address Clone and what is it for?
Some Internet Service Providers (ISP), especially Cable companies, require you to register the MAC address of the modem, router, or Ethernet adapter of the computer in order to access the Internet. If you do not wish to re-register the MAC address currently registered with your ISP, you may assign such MAC address to the router using the MAC Address Clone
If you want to clone the MAC address of the computer that you are using to configure the router, click the Clone My MAC Address
button. The router will automatically detect your computer’s MAC address, so you do NOT

. 4. What are Radio Band, Standard and Wide?
The Radio Band
gives you two (2)
and Standard – 20 MHz channel
. The standard channel is what all B/G/N devices use. If you select Wide channel for the Radio Band setting, then Wireless-N can use both primary (Auto) and secondary (Standard Channel) channels. This will improve Wireless-N performance. 5. What DDNS provider does E2500 support?
It supports DynDNS.org and TZO.com. 6. What is Diagnostics and what is it for?Diagnostics
is used to check Internet connection and application "ping”, "trace route” command to check your network’s connectivity to the Internet. 7. What is DMZ and what is it for?Demilitarized Zone (DMZ)
allows one (1)
local user to be exposed to the Internet for a special-purpose service such as Internet gaming or video conferencing. DMZ hosting forwards all the ports at the same time to one (1)
computer. However, Port Forwarding
is more secured because it only opens the ports you want to forward, while DMZ hosting opens all the ports of one (1)
computer, exposing the computer to the Internet. 8. Which dynamic routing protocol is supported on E2500?
It is compatible with RIP/RIPv2 dynamic routing protocol and 20 static routings at most. 9. Can the IP address number assigned by DHCP server be more than 253?
No. The default number is 50
. 10. Does the E2500 support wireless Quality of Service (QoS) and Internet Access Priority QoS?

ways to verify your computer’s connection to the network. You can either check your computer’s Internet connectivity or connection to the router. NOTE:

.7. If all else fails in the installation, what can I do?
First, you can reset the router. To do this, press and hold the Reset
button for 30
seconds until the Power LED
