How to locate the MAC address of the Linksys WAP1200AC for MAC Filtering configuration

If MAC Filtering is configured on the main wireless router, you need to add the MAC address of the Linksys WAP1200AC AC1200 Wi-Fi Access Point to the list of the router’s allowed addresses.  This is to allow or prevent the Linksys WAP1200AC from connecting to your wireless network. 
 
This article will help you locate the MAC address of the Linksys WAP1200AC for MAC Filtering configuration.  
 
Step 1:
Access your Linksys WAP1200AC’s web-based setup page.  To know how, click here.
 
Step 2:
Under the Status category, click WLAN Statistics.

Step 3:
On the WLAN Statistics page, use the MAC addresses in the Seen by Upstream AP when in Range Extender mode.

NOTE:  When the Linksys WAP1200AC is in Access Point mode, this field will not be displayed as it is not needed since the access point is wired into the network.
 
Step 4:
