Limiting Disk Quota on a User

Enabling disk quota on the network storage allows you to set a limit on how much storage space that user has in terms of megabytes of data. To limit disk quota on a user, follow the instructions below.

Limiting Disk Quota on a User

Step 1:
Access the network storage’s web-based setup page. For instructions, click here.

NOTE: If you are using Mac to access the network storage's web-based setup page, click here

Step 2:
When the network storage’s web-based set-up page appears, click Administration then Users.

Step 3:
Look for Name, enter the name you want to assign the user.

Step 4:
Under Password and Verify Password enter the password you want the user to use in accessing the network storage.

Step 5:
Make sure Enable Disk Quota is checked then enter the size on the field provided.

Step 6:

Click .

Step 7:

Click .

Step 8:
Repeat steps 3-5 if you want to add other users.
