Wireless Status on WGA600N

The WGA600N is a Dual-Band Wireless-N Gaming Adapter where gives wireless connection capabilities to any wired Ethernet-equipped game console.

To check your wireless status on WGA600N, please refer to the following steps:

Step 1:
Open a browser such as Internet Explorer.

Step 2:
Go to the address bar and enter you Gaming Adapter's IP address ("" is the default IP of Gaming Adapter) then press Enter.


Step 3:
A new window will prompt for a User name and Password. Enter your Gaming Adapter's username and password ("admin" is the default username and password), then click Log In.

Step 4:
The Device Information Page will be displayed.

Step 5:
Select Wireless sub-link.

Number of Wireless Access Points
Displays the total number of access points broadcasting within range of the Adapter.

MAC Address
Displays the MAC address of the access point.

Displays the SSID (wireless network name) of the access point.

Displays the wireless channel being used by the access point.

Displays the type of encryption being used by the access point.

Displays the wireless connection mode(s) currently used by the device.

Signal (%)
Displays the strength of the signal from the access point to the Adapter. This is a relative measure of signal quality. The value is expressed as a percentage of theoretical best quality. Signal quality can be reduced by distance, interference from other radio frequency sources (such as telephones or neighboring wireless networks), and by obstacles between the Adapter and the access point.
