- Using Low Density Parity-Check Code (LDPC) in a Linksys Wireless-N Ethernet bridge
The Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) is a code that enables or disables erroneous correction to reduce the probability of data loss in noisy channels. The Rate Adaptation algorithm automatically disables LDPC coding when working at physical (PHY) rates higher than 162. To use the LDPC advanced error correction scheme, follow the steps below.
Access the web-based setup page of your device. For instructions, click here.
Click Wireless > Advanced Wireless Settings sub-tab.
In the Use LDPC dropdown box, select Yes to enable the feature or No to disable it.
NOTE: By default, the LDPC feature is enabled.
Click Save Setings to confirm the changes.
