The Linksys RE3000W N300 Wireless Range Extender has a Light Emitting Diode (LED) on the front panel that gives you information about the device’s operation or behavior.

• 1 second ON, 1 second OFF, continues until pairing succeeds or 2 minutes elapses, then it fails
Orange ON
WPS session overlap
• Weak signal on 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz connection
 
• Light continues to blink until adaptor is placed where Wi-Fi signal threshold is satisfactory on both band
Orange Blinking
• Blinking 1 second ON, 1 second OFF
 
• Bad connection w
ith the router (i.e. lost connection)
 
• In daily use, light continues 
until the problem is corrected or adapter is unplugged
LAN
Green (on the RJ45 connector)
OFF
• No physical link on the LAN port
Solid
• Physical link is up on the LAN port.  No data activity.
Blinking
• Data is transmitting through the LAN port
 
WPS Light

When WPS connection is in process

When WPS connection is successful
Blinking orange for 2 minutes
When WPS cannot establish connection or encounters a problem
FIX:  Wait for a few seconds after the light stops blinking and try again
