Creating a wireless SSID through the Linksys Cloud Manager

The Linksys Business Cloud Access Points distribute secure Wi-Fi connection to different networks and provide cloud management features so you can monitor your networks from anywhere at any time.
 
The SSIDs page allows you to create and edit wireless SSIDs or profiles.  A network can have unlimited profiles.  A profile can be associated to one or more access points.  Follow the steps below to learn how to create a wireless SSID through the Linksys Cloud Manager.

 
Before you begin:
This article is only for access points being managed by (Cloud Manager 1.0) https://business.linksys.com/.

Step 1:
Access your Cloud account.  To learn how, click here.
 
Step 2:
Select a network.

Step 3:
Click the SSIDs tab, then click Create wireless name.

NOTE:  If a wireless SSID already exists, you will see the User-added image button instead.
 
Step 4:
Enter an SSID in the Name field.

Step 5:
You can decide to leave the Authentication open or you can click Password to create a password.  The Linksys Cloud Manager only supports open, WPA2™ or WPA2 Enterprise security.

If you select WPA2 Enterprise, click on the Configure RADIUS link to configure your RADIUS settings.

NOTE:  To use other types of security such as WEP (64 bits or 128 bits), WPA™ Personal, and WPA/WPA2 Personal, you will need to disable the cloud manager and manage the access point using the local interface only.  To learn more, click

Step 6:
To assign the SSID to specific access point, click on the Change link and select an access point.

Step 7:
Once you are satisfied with your settings, click Create.
