How to reserve a DHCP address for a client on the Network Map Tool of Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Account

The Network Map Tool is exclusive for the latest Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Routers.  The Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) Reservation feature allows the router to reserve the lease of an Internet Protocol (IP) address for use of a specific device on your network, effectively ensuring that the router does not assign the IP address to other devices in the network.  This is helpful when managing multiple devices such as web cameras, network printers, or game consoles.

This article will provide you with instructions on how to manage your router’s DHCP Table using the Network Map Tool.

Before managing the DHCP Table, you must first log in to the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Account.  For instructions, click here.
