- Accessing the router’s web-based setup page on an Android tablet
The Android™ tablet lets you access your router’s web-based setup page through its browser. Follow the steps below to learn how to do this:
NOTE: A Samsung Galaxy Tab® 10.1 is used as an example in this article.
On your Home screen, tap Apps.
Enter “192.168.1.1” in the Address bar, then tap the arrow beside it or hit [Enter] on your keyboard.
NOTE: If you have changed the router’s IP address, enter the new one instead.
IMPORTANT: To successfully log in to the router's web-based setup page, make sure your Android™ tablet is connected to your router's Wi-Fi. If it's not connected yet, click here for instructions on how to.
You will then be prompted for the router’s username and password. Enter your router’s login credentials in the provided fields, then tap Sign in.
NOTE: The Linksys router’s default password is “admin”.
You should now have successfully accessed the router’s web-based setup page through your Android™ tablet.
