Accessing the web-based setup page of the Linksys range extender

A Linksys range extender is a device which allows you to repeat the wireless signal of any access point or router in order to provide Internet connectivity to hard-to-reach areas through a wireless connection.

This article will guide you on how to access your range extender’s web-based setup page.  Click on the following links that best apply to your current network setup:

Follow these steps to access the web-based setup page for the following scenarios:
  • You just got the extender and it is not yet configured.
  • You have reset the extender and prefer to set it up manually.
  • Your extender is configured but it’s not connecting to your wireless router and you would like to review the existing settings to edit if necessary.
Step 1:
Plug your Linksys range extender to the power outlet.  Wait for the LEDs on it to be stable.
