Resolving buffering issues of the Apple TV® with your Velop network

Scenario:Ā  I randomly experience buffering issues while streaming videos using an Apple TVĀ® that is wired into a node via the Ethernet port.

Solution:Ā  You will need to disconnect the Ethernet cable that connects your Apple TVĀ® to the node.Ā  Once the Ethernet cable has been removed, connect the Apple TVĀ® to your Velop's wireless network.

To connect an Apple TVĀ® to your wireless network, follow the steps below:

NOTE:Ā  Make sure you know the wireless settings of your Velop before connecting your device to the network.Ā  To check the wireless settings, log in to your Velop DashboardĀ using the Linksys app.Ā  On the Dashboard screen, tap Wi-Fi.

Ā

Step 1:
On your Apple TVĀ®'s Home screen, go toĀ SettingsĀ User-added image.

NOTE:Ā  If you're setting up your Apple TVĀ® for the first time, you will only see two (2) options:Ā ComputersĀ andĀ Settings.Ā  This happens when the Apple TVĀ® is not yet configured to connect to your Velopā€™s network.
