Setting up Static IP Reservations on the Linksys WRT32X

The Linksys WRT32X AC3200 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Gaming Router with Killer Prioritization Engine creates the best home routing solution for serious online gaming.  It is built on an enterprise-grade hardware platform delivering the fastest wired and wireless speeds.

Static IP reservation is required if you want to reserve an IP address for use of a specific device on your network, effectively ensuring that the router does not assign the IP address to other devices in the network.  This is helpful when managing multiple devices and for Port Forwarding rules.

Step 5:
Enter an IP address in the IP Address field if the one selected for you is not your choice.  The IP address has to be within the DHCP Reservation range of the current network of your router.  This is because you cannot set an IP reservation outside the DHCP range.

NOTE:  If you want to delete the static IP reservation, click Delete.

Step 6:
To add another device, click Add static IP reservation +.

Step 7:
To add a device by manually entering a MAC address, select Manually enter MAC address from the Device drop-down menu.
