Linksys Cloud Manager: Inventory page

The Linksys Business Cloud Access Points distribute secure Wi-Fi connection to different clients and provide cloud management features so you can monitor your networks from anywhere at any time.  This article provides an overview of the Inventory page which serves as a virtual deposit of access points that you are not using in the Linksys Cloud Manager.

Accessing the Inventory page
 
Step 1:
Log in to the Linksys Cloud Manager.  For instructions, click here.

 
Step 2:
Click on the account icon (account's initial letter) at the top-right side of the page and select Inventory from the drop-down menu.

NOTE:  In the example below, T is the account icon.

Adding new access point to the Inventory page

IMPORTANT:  Make sure your access point is connected to the internet before adding it to the Inventory page.
 

 
Step 1:
Log in to the Linksys Cloud Manager.  For instructions, click here.

 
Step 2:
Click on your account icon at the top-right side of the page and select Inventory from the drop-down menu.
 
Step 3:
Click on Add New Access Point.

Step 4:
Enter the Access Point MAC Address and Serial Number of the access point you want to add then click Save.

The access point's MAC address and Serial number can be found on the backplate of the device or on the box it came in.

Moving access point to the Inventory page
 
Step 1:
Log in to the Linksys Cloud Manager.  For instructions, click here.

 
Step 2:
On the Linksys Cloud Manager's dashboard, click on a network name.

Step 3:
Select the Access Points tab.

Step 4:
Click on the ellipsis icon of the access point that you want to move and select Move to Inventory.

Step 5:
Click Move.

Moving the access point from the Inventory to a network
 
Step 1:
Log in to the Linksys Cloud Manager.  For instructions, click here.

 
Step 2:
Click on your account icon at the top-right side of the page and select Inventory from the drop-down menu.

NOTE:  Make sure that your inventory contains the access point you want to move. 
 
Step 3:
On the Inventory page, click the ellipsis icon and select Move.

Select the network where you want to place the access point and click Add.
