  • Power Port  — Connect the AC power adapter to this port.  The power adapter uses 12V.

NOTE:  Use only the adapter that came with your access point.

  • Ethernet Port 1 (Power over Ethernet (POE))  — Use RJ45 (Cat5e or better) cable to connect LAP1750PRO to network devices like routers, switches or computers.  This port supports PoE+ (IEEE802.3at).  You may use the port to power LAPAC1750PRO by using PoE+ switch or injector.

NOTE:  PoE has higher precedence over AC.  When both PoE and AC power adapter are connected to LAPAC1750PRO, the device will be powered by PoE.

  • Ethernet Port 2  — This is a non-PoE Ethernet port.  It can be used instead of Ethernet port 1 but requires AC power adapter to power LAPAC1750PRO access point.

NOTE:  Ethernet Port 1 and Port 2 can be used together in Link Aggregation mode when supported by the connected devices.  In this configuration, it is highly recommended that AC power and PoE be used in tandem to support power failure and/or link failure.

  • Reset button   — Press and hold this button for less than 15 seconds to powercycle the device.  Press and hold for more than 15 seconds to reset the device to factory default settings.
