TROUBLESHOOTING

1.  Why is my Linksys LAPAC1200C showing Offline in the Cloud?

The access point will display offline due to one of the following reasons:
  • The access point is down or is not connected to the internet.
  • The access point was reset.
  • The Linksys Cloud Manager was disabled or re-enabled.
To fix these, follow the troubleshooting tips below:

TIP 1:  Confirm the status of the access point by logging in to its local interface.  If the access point has the Cloud module enabled, then you can check the LAN settings or use the Ping test tool or check the network connections.  Once the access point will be able to reach the internet via TCP/8002 or TCP/443, it should get the configuration in less than 3 minutes (time needed by the access point to apply the configuration).

TIP 2:  If the Cloud button at the top right-hand corner of the local interface shows Enable Cloud Manager, this means that the Cloud is disabled.  You need to enable it then delete the access point from the Cloud.  To know how to delete the access point from the Cloud, click here Once deleted, add the access point back into the cloud.   To learn how, click here

2.  How do I delete an access point from a network?

Follow the steps below to delete an access point from a network.

Step 1:
Log in to the Linksys Cloud Manager.  To learn how, click here.

Step 2:
In the Networks page, select a network and click the Access Points tab.

Step 3:
Tick the checkbox of your access point, click Actions, and then select Delete.

QUICK TIP:  You can also click the ellipsis icon of the access point and select Delete

Step 4:
Click Delete to proceed.

3.  There are no Wireless SSID slot names to select for the access point, what could be the problem?

To add a Wireless SSID slot, a Wireless profile must first exist.  To create a new Wireless profile, go to the SSIDs page to create it.  To learn more, click
here.

4.  How do I change the settings of a Wireless profile?

To learn how to change the settings of a Wireless profile, such as changing the password or bandwidth limit, click here.
