To configure the wireless settings of any Linksys wireless router, you need to configure these settings:
- Wireless Network Name (SSID)
- SSID Broadcast
- Wireless Security
Follow the steps below to manually configure your Linksys wireless router’s settings:
NOTE: If you are accessing the web-based setup page through the Advanced Settings of your Linksys Connect software, click here for instructions.
Step 2:
On the router’s web-based setup page, click Wireless.

Step 3:
Look for Network Mode and select Mixed from the drop-down menu. Once done, click Save Settings.

Click Wireless Security and take note of the current Security Mode.

• If Security Mode is set to WPA:
NOTE: By default, Linksys Connect automatically enables WPA/WPA2 Mixed Mode security for best wireless-N performance.

• If Security Mode is set to WEP:
NOTE: When using WEP, the wireless-N capability of your E-Series or EA-Series router is disabled. It will operate in wireless-G standard data rate.

Step 5:
Click the
