How do I identify which node is the Child node connected to?

The Linksys Velop Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi System sends flawless, full-strength Wi-Fi across your entire home.  Each node increases the Wi-Fi range by 2,000 sq. ft. and you can continue to add more nodes to grow your Velop network.  This article will help you identify which node your Child node is connected to.

The Parent node is the main node connected to your existing network or router.  The Parent node is the first node on the list of nodes and all others are considered Child nodes.

Step 1:
On your mobile device, launch the Linksys app and log in to the Velop Dashboard.  For instructions, click here.

Step 2:
Tap on the Navigation Menu User-added image icon then go to Velop Administration.

Step 3:
You will then be taken to the Velop Administration page.  Tap on a Child node (e.g., Dining Room).
