Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not fireman proof It sooks even though range was great. In process of teaching the missus the this/that of the Far off smart tv, something blipped and Bixby/Samsung tv is belly up. ~ I chose reset vs unplug. ... Screen came up I can't get back to re-do all name and passwords I shut due to I Did All That Already. ~~ My laptop finds and connects with a click, so any joe shmoe can too...Now I get what happened to my E3000 anyone could connect to after hoops jumped through. Some odd blip and password protect is gone. ~~ Re-start guide from stage one as prompted I shut is gone/cannot get back. Oh gee whiz, good thing admin assigned in set up. It said something, but guess what of ticked. No CD to fire up admin, eep. Good thing I registered a nice doorstop shape. ~ It works in house hitting Win 10 Connect button, but no longer a smart tv. 2nd of two that just dumps any password protection, except me after a power outage..at this point there is none.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to Set Up But Lacks Certain Features This router is easy to set up. It does lack certain features. 1. Guest user. I would like to restrict guests to the 2.4 connection, but there doesn't appear to be a way to do this. 2. Lack of detailed documentation. I prefer to be able to print out and bind a copy of user documentation. Such documentation is then available, even when the Internet is not. 3. No screw holes for mounting the device. 4. Front panel has tiny, faint font. Not everybody is 25 years old with razor sharp vision! These items are why I did not give this five stars.

Can I set up 2 SSIDs on both 2.4 and 5g bands?

Asked by: Matt VDM
Hi, Matt. We would like to make sure that we got your concern correctly, do you mean to say that you want to create a different SSID to the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz Network? If so, you can definitely separate the two Networks and assign a different Wifi Name to both.

I do not need the app to setup the router correct? Am I able to split the 2.4 and 5ghz wifi bands for my seperate devices?

Asked by: William S
You are correct. You can set up which device lives on each of the 2.4 and the 5.0 Wi-Fi bands.
