not good
I bought the router 2 years ago. Parental control not work proper at all. Time to time I lost connection to my HDD plugged into the USB port. I upgrade manually the firmware because automatic one in the menu not work. Unfortunately lost my 2.4 GHz network at all after the upgrade. Not recommend it..

EA7300 Rocks The House!!
I have had this router for sometime now. 3 Story house with the router on the 3rd fl front stairway. Easily supports 5 cameras from the basement / outside and throughout. Love my Linksys Smart Wi-Fi app! For all users of different levels of experience. Looking to try the Mesh routers / nodes as well because the security features WPA2/WPA3 2.4 and 5GHz.
This routers highest security is WPA2 Personal which is still fine security. Recommend highly for the cost and usage. The house has over 30 devices connected to it.

Update old LNKSYS router
I decided to update my old WIFI router because constant drops and reboots. I called customer tech support and got a great choice in the ea7300 router. Setup was relatively easy. Now with the virus keeping people in, I am so glad I replaced my router.

What is the best modem to get for use with Linksys AC1750 EA7300?

Can I setup Linksys EA7300 as wifi extender? I have the main router on the superior floor. I need to catch wifi signal and extend it at the inferior floor via wifi and via ethernet.
The Linksys EA7300 is the source of the wifi signal. It will not "extend" the network any further than the range it is able to transmit and reach. You can install Linksys Max-Stream extenders and increase range beyond about 500 sq meters. Using an Ethernet cable is an option, it is not a requirement unless you want to set up an additional network, however it will most likely decrease performance of both networks

Is this device compatible the usb port to connect a printer instead of a storage media?
This printer can be 'hard wired' direct to tower or laptop but looses versatility designed into it. There is a USB port on the router that can store data or provide media for updates. Best connection is OTA.
