I researched different products since it had been a while since I had purchased mine. This router is awesome, easy to install and fits my needs from full house to cameras outside. I recommend this product.

Linksys Smart Wifi software will adequately assist you in getting it started up. That's where this product stops being useful. Ongoing monitoring and device management is on the low end of functionality. And today's big household networking issues are: what's eating my data and having tools to manage/limit my devices. Linksys Smart Wifi falls woefully short in both areas. There's better available.

It’s also very large and split level so it’s hard to get a Wi-Fi signal in several crucial areas. This router has made an enormous difference in speed and range with our device connectivity. We have no more dead spots and can even access the signal in the front and back yards. It’s speedier too! This is a highly recommended upgrade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Signal and Easy Setup Overall this is a great router, the setup was easy, only confusing part was you name the network and password and then need to login to the router through the app, it shouldn't be confusing but it doesn't clearly say what you created the initial password for. I mounted it on the wall with no additional pieces other than screws and sheetrock anchors. Likes - Software was easy to set up - Mounting holes - Good Signal Strength - Can reserve IP addresses for devices - Set time limits and controls over devices - Parental Controls Could be better - Setup - You name the network and then need to log into the router, kind of backwards and it doesn't clearly call out what you named 1st - Weird little hiccups, could be interference. Usually need to restart device

The ability to direct the network into the areas of the house that need it most using the directional antennae is always a bonus. This is no exception.

This router was easily set up .and retained a good strength through several storms when my old router would have dropped. I'd recommend this to my friends and family!
