Step 1:
Use the enclosed Allen wrench to detach the cover from the camera.

IMPORTANT:  When removing the cover, please be aware of the microphone line.
Step 2:
Insert your Micro SD/SDHC card into the SD card slot.  The maximum card size supported is 32 GB. (Not Included)

NOTE:  The mini-dome camera does not come with a free SD/SDHC card.  It must be purchased separately.

Step 3:
Place the moisture-absorbing dry pack inside the camera and secure it with double-sided tape.
Step 4:
Attach the location sticker to your desired spot in the house or office.   The best place to mount the camera is on a ceiling stud.
Step 5:
Drill through the center of the three (3) location holes on the sticker and hammer the three (3) plastic anchors into the three (3) location holes.
Step 6:
Hold the camera against the wall, lining up screw slots on camera mount with the plastic anchors.

Step 7:
Insert the screws and tighten.  The camera must be installed securely and properly.  The camera might fall and get damaged if mounted on a soft material and/or not tightly secured.
QUICK TIP:  If you are using the mounting adapter, use three (3) longer screws.  If you are not using the mounting adapter, use the three (3) shorter screws.

Step 8:
Connect the RJ45 Ethernet cable.  For outdoor installation, be sure to connect an RJ45 Ethernet cable with a waterproof Ethernet connector.
NOTE:  The camera is Power over Ethernet (PoE) compliant (802.3af).  If you don’t have a PoE switch or injector, you will need a DC12V power supply, which is not included in the package.

Step 9:
Connect your speaker cable to an audio line-out connector (optional).

Step 10:
For outdoor installation, cover the connections with electrical tape.
Step 11:
Put the dome cover back on the camera and secure it using the Allen wrench.

WARNING:  The lens has been setup to have a clear view of objects up to three (3) meters (10 ft.) away from the camera.  Linksys is not responsible for any issues caused by the user’s adjustment to the lens.
