QUICK TIP:  The USB 3.0 port recognizes older USB devices but it will only run on the speed allotted to the specific USB standard.  It also supports FAT, NTFS and HFS+ for data storing formats.

Ethernet 1-4 (Yellow and Green) – These Ethernet ports connect the router to computers and other Ethernet network devices on your wired network using Ethernet cables.  The yellow light flashes to indicate network activity over that port.  The green light turns ON when the local network port is connected to a 10/100/1000 port with auto-MDIX.

NOTE:  For best performance, use CAT5E or higher rated cables in connecting devices on the Ethernet ports of your router.

Internet (Yellow and Green) – Using an Ethernet cable, the Internet port connects the router to your Internet connection, which is typically a Cable or Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) modem.  The yellow light flashes to indicate network activity over that port.  The green light turns ON when the Internet port is connected to a 10/100/1000 port with auto-MDIX.
