Linksys Cloud Manager 2.0 - How to delete an access point from a network

The Linksys Cloud Manager 2.0 for the Linksys Business Cloud Access Points allows you to remotely manage multiple access points, networks, and businesses anytime and anywhere.

Below are possible reasons to delete the access point:

  • You are no longer using the access point and will permanently remove it from your network.
  • You want to reset the access point via the Linksys Cloud Manager 2.0.

This article will help you delete an access point in your network.
Step 1:
Log in to the Linksys Cloud Manager 2.0.  For instructions, click here.

Step 2:
Select an organization then from the list of Networks, click on a network name.

IMPORTANT:  Before making changes, make sure you have selected the correct network.  The top-left section should display the network name.

Step 3:
Click the Devices tab.

QUICK TIP:  You can also click on the ellipsis menu User-added image for a network and select Devices.

Step 4:
In Devices, click on an access point.

Step 5:
Click on the ellipsis menu for your access point then click on Delete.

  • You can also click on the ellipsis menu in Devices and click Delete.

  • You can also check the box beside the access point's name then under Actions, select Delete.

Step 6:
Click Delete to proceed.

NOTE:  You can also check the box beside Move to inventory instead then click User-added image if you choose to move the access point to inventory.  For more information on the Inventory page, click here.

You have now successfully deleted your access point.  If you want to add the access point back, click here for instructions.  Once you delete an access point, its settings will be reset to factory defaults.
