Follow the steps below to log in to the Linksys Dual-Band WiFi Router's web interface.

The device that you will use to access the web interface should be connected to the router’s network.
NOTE: The default Wi-Fi name for the Linksys Dual-Band routers is Linksysxxxxx (where xxxxx represent the last five digits of the device's serial number). If the Wi-Fi name has been changed, use that instead.
- If you need to connect to the router using a hardwired computer, connect your computer to one of the ethernet ports of the router.
- Browser requirements:
- Latest version of Internet Explorer®, Google Chrome™, Firefox®, Safari® (for Mac® or iPad®), Microsoft Edge®

Step 1:
Open a browser and type in "http://myrouter.local" or "192.168.1.1" in the Address bar then press [Enter].
NOTE: If you changed the IP address of the router, use that instead. To learn how to check the IP address of your router, click here.
Step 2:
Enter your router’s password, then click LOGIN.
NOTE: The Linksys E5600 is used in the example below.

NOTE: The Linksys E5600 is used in the example below.

NOTE: The router’s default password is admin. If you forgot your router’s password, you may manually reset your router to default settings. To learn how, click here.
