The Linksys RE6300 AC750 BOOST Wi-Fi Range Extender is a plug-in range extender that can easily increase the range of a wireless home network and provide Wi-Fi range extension with two non-detachable external antennas. The single Gigabit ethernet port allows wired ethernet devices, such as computers and media servers, to be bridged to the main Wi-Fi router. The Linksys RE6300 also offers the option to use it as a wired range extender (Access Point mode) or a wireless range extender (Range Extender mode).

Power / WPS Light Indicator – Light Indicator behaviors:
Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ (WPS) button – Use the WPS technology to automatically and securely add wireless devices to your network.
Reset button – Press and hold for 10 seconds to reset the range extender to factory defaults.
Bottom Panel
ETHERNET port - This port is used to connect wired clients such as computers or media servers when the Linksys RE6300 is in Range Extender mode or connect to a router when it is in Access Point mode. It will illuminate green when a device is connected and active. It will blink when sending or receiving data over the ethernet port.

Front Panel
- OFF – There is no power on the range extender.
- Blinking Green / Yellow – The range extender is starting up, resetting to factory defaults, upgrading its firmware or WPS connection is in process.
- Solid Green / Yellow – The range extender is ready to use.
- Solid Orange / Red – There is a weak connection with the router.
- Blinking Orange / Red – The range extender is not connected to the router or other network.
