Overview of the mesh router dashboard for Android mobile devices

The Linksys app dashboard offers a snapshot of your WiFi.  Here, you can see the connection status of the node, the number of devices in the network, and other settings that you can configure for your WiFi.  To learn about this feature using an iOS mobile device, click here.

Below is a brief overview of the dashboard.

Internet connection statusThe dashboard will display the status of the internet connection whether it is online or offline.

DevicesIt will also display the total number of clients that are currently connected. 


Tap on Devices to view your online and offline devices.  You can tap on a device to view or edit a specific information.

Wi-FiThe Wi-Fi section will display the WiFi name for your network.

You can tap on the WiFi name to go to the Wi-Fi Settings section to make necessary changes.


You can also tap on the Share sf224177-007_en_v10.png icon to share your WiFi information via text, email or to save a copy on your phone.

Guest AccessThe Guest Access section allows you to share internet connection to your guests.  They will be able to go online but will not be able to see or access other connected devices and files.  You can also create a guest WiFi name and password and share them to your guests.

Parental ControlsThe Parental Controls section allows you to manage your kid's internet use.  When enabled, the configured devices will appear in this section.

PriorityThe Priority section allows you to prioritize internet usage by choosing Video Calls or By device.  The applications or devices you prioritize will always have the best access when connected.   To know more, click here.


Under Video Calls, Zoom and Microsoft® Teams applications are supported.


If you choose to Prioritize By Device, select up to three devices and save your settings.


External StorageThe External Storage feature is available in some routers only.  You may check your node's user guide to check if this feature is supported on your device. 

You can tap on External Storage to see the node that a storage device is connected to, the hard drive's name, and other information.  You can also tap on Authentication to create a username and password for the storage device.
