Overview of the Local Network Settings of your Linksys app for your Velop system

With the latest firmware version, the Linksys Velop Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi System has now added the Local Network Settings on your Linksys app for you to configure your Velop network easily. This article will give you an overview of the Local Network Settings feature.

Step 1:
Access the Velop Dashboard. For instructions when using an Android™ device, click
here. For iOS, click here.

Step 2:
Tap the menu icon at the upper left portion of the screen.

Step 3:
Go to Advanced Settings then tap Local Network Settings.

You will then be taken to the Local Network Settings section.

  • Router Details – This section allows you to change the LAN IP address and Subnet Mask of your Velop network.

  • DHCP Server - This section allows you to change the DHCP Server settings of your Velop network.

  • DNS Settings - This section allows you to change the DNS Settings of your Velop network. Auto is selected by default. Tap on the User-added image icon and select Manual to make the necessary changes.
