Setting up the Linksys EA7200, EA7300 v2, and EA7450 through the Linksys app

The Linksys app allows you to monitor and manage your Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Routers.  With the Linksys app, you can access your home network anywhere, anytime.

Follow the steps below for setting up your Linksys EA7200, EA7300 v2, or EA7450.

Before you begin:
  • Make sure your internet access is working.
  • Power OFF your modem.  If you are replacing an existing router, make sure to disconnect it and move it out of the way.  After that, connect your modem to the internet port of your new router using an ethernet cable then plug the power adapter of both your modem and your new router.
  • Your router’s antennas should be in an upright position.
  • Have the router’s default Wi-Fi name and password ready.  This is located at the bottom of the router or in the quick start guide.
