1. How can I reset the Linksys E9450 to factory defaults?

Press and hold the reset button at the back of the router for 10 seconds then release. The power light on the front of the router will turn OFF and will start blinking blue.

2. What should I do if I can't connect to the internet via WiFi and my network name is not listed on the available networks?

Try to perform the steps below:
  • Verify that your router's power and WiFi lights are both solid blue.
  • To assess if you have WiFi range issues, try moving your laptop or mobile device closer to your router.
 
3. What should I do when my WiFi is slow, inconsistent, suffering from a weak signal, or having difficulty maintaining a connection?

To reduce signal degradation, do the following recommendations:
  • Clear obstructions between the router and your devices such as walls, fixtures, furniture, and metal appliances.
  • Situate your router from locations with WiFi signal interference caused by other devices using the same frequency such as baby monitors, microwave ovens, etc.
  • Place your router on an elevated surface that is at least 6-ft high.

4. What if my internet light is solid orange and I cannot get online?

Try rebooting your modem then wait for a few minutes. If you are still unable to get online, call your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to check for any connectivity issues with the modem.
