Yes.

The standard specifications supported are IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u, IEEE 802.11g, IEEE 802.11b, USB1.1 USB 2.0

13. What should I do if the PrintServer's Power LED flashes continuously?

Reset the PrintServer.  Then, unplug the power adapter and plug it back in or press the Reset button at the back of the PrintServer for approximately 10 seconds.

14. What software do I use to scan when using the WPSM54G?

Use the scanning software that came with the printer.  If it's not installed, you can use the setup CD that came with the printer or download the software from the manufacturer’s website.

15. Why is the scanning software giving an error stating it cannot find the printer?

This problem occurs when the PrintServer utility is not running and connected.  You must manually go into the Linksys PrintServer Utility and click the ON button.  This connects the PrintServer utility to the WPSM54G. Once connected, you will be able to scan.

16. Why does the scanning job suddenly stop during the middle of operation?

By default, the time-out value is set to only one minute.  To complete a scanning job, increase the default time-out value in the PrintServer utility.

17. How do I reset the PrintServer to factory defaults?

Step 1:
Unplug the PrintServer's power adapter.

Step 2:
Press the Reset button while you plug in the PrintServer's power adapter.  Continue to hold the Reset button for 10 seconds and then release it.

NOTE:  This will reset the password, wireless, and other settings on the PrintServer to the factory defaults.

18. How do I use another printer as my default printer aside from the one already installed with the WPSM54G?

You must exit the Scan Utility located in the system tray.  Since the scan utility application loads up when Windows starts, it is recommended to remove it from the Startup folder.  If the Scan Utility continues to run in the system tray, it will always make the printer installed to the WPSM54G, the default printer.

19. What should I do if the PrintServer cannot be detected?

If the Setup Wizard is unable to detect the PrintServer on the network, it may be due to:

• Improper physical connection
• A firewall is enabled on the computer
• PrintServer is not obtaining a correct IP address on the network

20. What should I do if I receive a USB connection error?

• Power OFF the computer and the PrintServer then reboot both devices.
• Try plugging the PrintServer to another USB port.
