Accessing the ADSL Gateway’s web-based setup page using a Mac® computer

Linksys ADSL gateways have a built-in web-based setup page that allows the user to customize the settings of the device.  This article will guide you on how to access the ADSL Gateway’s web-based setup page using a Mac® computer.

NOTE:  Before accessing the web-based setup page, ensure that the computer is wired to one of the numbered Ethernet ports on the gateway.

Step 1:
Open a web browser such as Safari

Step 2:
On the Address bar, enter your ADSL gateway's IP Address then press [Return].

NOTE: 
The default IP Address of most Linksys ADSL Gateways is 192.168.1.1.  To learn how to check the gateway's IP Address, click

Step 3:
Enter “admin” and your gateway password in the Name and Password fields respectively, then click Log In.

 


 

NOTE:  In case the Name and Password of the gateway has been changed, enter the gateway's new Name and Password in both fields instead.

You should have accessed your ADSL gateway’s web-based setup page by now.
