5. When using the FreeRadius software with Captive Portal, it redirects to the landing page and will NOT accept the username and password created on the FreeRadius users.conf.  But when using the FreeRadius server without the Captive Portal feature, the username and password work with WPA2 Enterprise wireless security.  How should I resolve this issue?

To resolve this issue, follow the steps below:

Step 1:
Make sure that the access point has the latest firmware (FW 1.1.01 or above).  Visit the
Linksys Support Site to download the latest firmware.

Step 2:
Enter the IP Addresses of all the cluster members into the Radius Server
if your access point's Cluster functionality is enabled.

NOTE:  When the access points are in cluster, it doesn’t pose a problem when the Radius Server IP is entered into the Master access point, as the settings will propagate to the Slaves access point units.  However, you might encounter issues when entering the IP Address of the Master only into the Radius Server.

Step 3:
The authentication type in FreeRADIUS eap.conf must be configured as MD5.
