Linksys Connect and Network Magic compatibility issues with OS X® Lion 10.7, Mountain Lion 10.8, Mavericks 10.9, Yosemite 10.10, El Capitan 10.11 and macOS™ Sierra 10.12

Older versions of Linksys Connect and the Network Magic add-on for Mac® computers have compatibility issues with the release of OS X® Lion 10.7 and OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.  Only Linksys Connect versions 1.4.11222 and higher are compatible with the OS X Lion and OS X Mountain Lion operating systems. 

NOTE:  Currently, only the E900's, E1200's v2.2 and E2500 v3's Linksys Connect version 1.5.16287.0 is compatible with the OS X Mavericks 10.9OS X Yosemite 10.10, OS X® El Capitan 10.11 and macOS™ Sierra 10.12.  To verify if your product is compatible with the different Mac OS X versions, open the Release Notes from the Downloads file of your Linksys device.  To view the list of Linksys devices' downloadable files, click

If you are unable to complete the initial Linksys Connect setup for your Linksys Wi-Fi Router when using the Lion or Mountain Lion operating system, it is recommended to continue setting up the device manually using the web-based setup page.  If your device doesn’t have the update yet, exit setup and follow the instructions in these links:
