The Linksys Business Wireless-N & Wireless-AC Access Points have the latest Wi-Fi technology to offer a powerful wireless network. Through the use of this access point, employees can bring their own devices to work, and deploy access point easily with Power over Ethernet (PoE) supported.
This article will guide you on how to set up your Linksys Business Wireless-N & Wireless-AC Access Points. Follow the steps below for instructions:
NOTE: This article assumes that you already have a working wireless network setup with your router or network switch.
Step 4:
The web-based setup page of your access point will then appear. Click on the Quick Start tab then click the
button to start the setup.

NOTE: This article assumes that you already have a working wireless network setup with your router or network switch.
Step 1:
Use the Ethernet cable that came with your access point and connect one end of it to your router or network switch. Connect the other end to your access point.
Step 2:
Using a computer that is connected to your existing network, open a web browser and enter the IP address of your access point in the Address bar. You can check the IP address assigned by the router to the access point on the DHCP client’s table of your router’s web-based setup page. To know how, click here.
NOTE: The default IP address of the access point is 192.168.1.252 if it is not connected to a DHCP network.
Step 3:
On the authentication window that will appear, enter “admin” in both the Username and Password fields then click Log in.
NOTE: In the example below, LAPN600 is used.
