Rated 5 out of 5 by from Some info for a rookie Setup is easy as 1 2 3. Every house needs at least 2 extenders. Because you create a whole new wifi.ext. it's not extending your original wifi.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed in Router Performance Again I was hoping that this would correct the spooling problem I was having with streaming video over my Linksys router. It only helped a little.

Does this work with the Linksys MR7500?

Asked by: steveie
Hi, steveie. The Linksys RE6250 will work with your MR7500. However, the extended network will not have a Mesh capability as the Linksys RE7310 range extender is not Mesh-enabled device.

will this work with a setup that has 34 nodes of WHW03?

Asked by: Baroque
Hi! Technically, the RE6250 extender should work as long as there’s an active Wi-Fi connection that it can connect to. But, this extender do not support mesh.

DOES THIS EXTENDER SUPPORT GUEST NETWORK?

Asked by: MIKE-E
You can choose to extend either the primary network or the guest network for a single band but not both at the same time. One option though is to have the extender use the guest network to extend the 2.4ghz guest and the 5ghz primary or vice versa. That'd give you a secure wifi for your devices and one for your guests.

*Maximum performance derived from IEEE Standard 802.11 specification. Actual performance can vary, including lower wireless network capacity, data throughput rate, range, and coverage. Performance depends on many factors, conditions, and variables, including distance from the access point, volume of network traffic, building materials and construction, operating system used, mix of wireless products used, interference, and other adverse conditions.
