Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does Not Work with my Router I bought this at Sam's yesterday and followed instructions exactly several times but no connection. On line help desk chatline) for an hour and it ended with a sales pitch to buy a network security sytem for $200 or a one time fix for $100. End result still not working. Going to return them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from cannot connect, bad software, bad instructions. This product does not have the ability to connect via the instructions. The 6350 is not an option when connecting. The tech help is worthless as it takes hours to talk to anyone.

Does it work with Hydra 6 mesh router?

Asked by: Adypou
Hi, Adypou. Yes, the Linksys RE6350 will work with mesh device. However, the extended network will not have a Mesh capability as the Linksys RE6350 range extender is not Mesh-enabled.

I have an existing Velop system.  Is this product compatible versus the Velop extender?  There is quite a difference in price.  What is difference in performance?

Asked by: Florida Bear
Hi, Yes, this range extender is compatible with your existing Velop system. Just to be clear, since mesh technology is not supported by this range extender, it does not support one seamless network, unlike the Velop Mesh Extender, which can support a single seamless network.

I have a single MX4200 router. Single router is merely fully cover my home except for my bed room. Because no single mesh partner is sold solely, it seems to add an extender is better option for me. Does it works with this router? Thank You.

Asked by: Jerry133
Hi Jerry133. The Linksys RE6350 range extender is not compatible with your Velop MX4200. We recommend getting the Velop Mesh Wi-Fi Extender (WHW0101P) instead. You can check it out here: https://www.linksys.com/linksys-velop-mesh-wifi-extender/WHW0101P.html.
