Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great device for my needs Have had for 2.5 years. No WiFi was hitting my basement from upstairs. Installed this, and I'm not that technically minded. Now able to operate my home office and wireless printer with no issues. Great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extended WiFi to Garage Office In an attempt to extend WiFi to a detached garage office, I purchased the Linksys RE7000. Skeptical at first, but set-up was easy and signal strength to garage is strong. Extremely happy with the purchase and grateful not to have spent a lot of time or money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Piece of Junk This is an absolute piece of junk. Wi-Fi never stays connected and is always dropping and you cannot reconnect. I have moved the extender to multiple different locations within my home on the second floor, main floor and basement and nothing works. I’ve reset my modem/router and still nothing and when you try to contact customer support you sit in their chat for over and hour with no response. Overall - this is a piece of trash go spend $100 on something worth while.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works for me Easy to set up, it extends coverage to where I needed it… for my 2.4GHz band. I still need to get the 5GHz band set up, but am happy that I at least have one band working so haven’t made it a priority.

Asked by: Kimmer
Hi, Kimmer. The Linksys RE7000 help extends the wireless range of your main router and boosts wifi to hard-to-reach locations in your home. However, the extended network is not a mesh network since the range extender is not a mesh-enabled device.

How many RE7000 extenders can be used together?

Asked by: NASARich
Hi, NASARich. You can cascade multiple range extenders to the router. However, we recommend using up to three extenders only as the signal deteriorates the more it gets extended.
