Rated 1 out of 5 by from Snazzy industrial design, useless innards Had this unit for over a year now. Can't say I'm impressed. Sub-par range, terrible nonsensical administration app, unit requires multiple reboots a week, as it incessantly claims "no internet access" but somehow a restart magically fixes it. This is a pile of dung. Granted, my unit may be a dud, but the design choices made by the brain dead product managers surely applies to all units and not just mine. Recommendation: Avoid at all cost.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from real nice AX1800 this is a replacement for My old AC2200 tri band . not as much range as AC2200 and not found of a Led status light that changes color! I prefer separate lights for internet and wireless. otherwise a great little router.....

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Router controls are awful Here we are in a world of technology, and the Smart-Wifi web gui page for this router sucks. You cannot label MAC addresses you add so you have no idea what-is-who months later when you need to update it. Linksys stripped out the Disable SSID feature, stating, "people can still find it if they have the tools", which agreed is true, but for the general public in neighborhoods, they DON"T have the skills, and I'd rather keep my broadcast not generally viewable. Linksys dummied down the entire interface, rather than keep a standard and ADVANCED gui. Why do companies go backward?

Can you use this router if your service provider is Spectrum?

Asked by: KG89
Spectrum requires approved Modems to use their service. They have a list of approved modems. You can buy or rent. Routers like this Linksys should be fine. You connect the router to the modem. I have never had a modem that most brands of routers would not connect to.
