Easy…Have previous version, MX4000 series. Initial set-up was easy for three nodes. Handles the +50 Wi-Fi devices easily. Options via App easy as well. Added an extra node that was not a MX4000 and it took longer to set-up and maybe a month to figure how to best integrate it into the existing three nodes (as I still had a dead zone in a three story house). Thought had to add a fifth node… that is still in the box.

Worst routers ever and even worse customer serviceThese Routers constantly power cycle, multiple times a day. They have done since the beginning. The speed is also subpar, my free att router does better. Range is slso pretty bad. But the most frustrating thing is the power cycling restarting. If you enjoy losing internet multiple times a day then these are for you. The customer service and support is absolutely HORRIBLE. They no absolutely nothing and are not helpful and literally told me, “sorry they arnt working but nothing we can do”. So the warranty obviously means absolutely nothing.

Very pleasantly surprised by ease of setup …Added these to my MR 9600 to replace 2 older RE9000 WAPs. They are everything I hoped for, and more. They practically installed themselves, auto-discovered both 2.4 & 5 GHz channels, set up both correctly, and working nearly flawlessly. I was surprised and very pleased. Coverage is great as well, in both bands.

Frustrating to set up but worth it.A little hard to set up… did not want to find my isp. Had reboot modem and system multiple times before it connected. Now that it’s connected though it’s been fast and flawless.

Excellent Home Network Lan/Wireless UpgradeGreat upgrade to my Linksys EA9500, which I used along with a Linksys RE9000 Extender, in my 5000SF 2-story house, with 50+ Devices. The Linksys MX10600 allows me to use Node-1 (1st floor) as a Router/Wireless and Node-2 as a Wireless Extender for the upstairs. Since my house network is a combination of wired/wireless throughout, my installation and transition was a little involved but pretty straight forward. To minimize complications, I replaced the EA9500 Router with a Linksys 8-Port Switch. Note, I ended up with five switches throught the house. Most importantly, the Wireless Signal is strong throught the entire house and so far no issues. Just for reference my Internet (400mbs) is provided by Charter Spectrum, however I average 450mbs download and 22mbs upload. Streaming is great, with no glitches, lag or buffering.

Meets all my expectationsThis product truly improves the WI-FI in my house and separate back house. The person on the phone who guided my set-up was knowledgeable, patient, and extremely helpful. It works perfectly- just what I hoped when I purchased the Lynksys Velop Mesh Router.
That depends on how many nodes do you need. You can buy 3 nodes (Atlas MX2003) and if you need a fourth one just buy another node. In few word is modular. They start from one node up to three, from there you will be buying a single node to cover the corner of the house you need. for example for an apartment of 250 square meters two nodes are more than enought, for a house of two level the three node are plenty y you have a basement you will need an extra node to cover specially if that is going to be your cave (entertainment, leisure center)

can i add mx-5300 to my velop AC-6600 mesh system?
Asked by: R&R.
Yes. I added the AC 6600 nodes to the system to expend it with no problem. Mine are wired connections but they are initially set up as wireless when syncing to the new router node.

Linksys mesh WiFi system works with Apple Homekit to add an extra layer of security to your smart home. Will Linksys WiFi system support Matter and its Thread internet communication protocol?
