Antenna connector – For connecting the included antennas. The Antenna type is an external dipole antenna with R-SMA connectors.
Ethernet ports (1-4) – Connect Ethernet cables (also called network cables) to these Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) ports and to other wired Ethernet network devices on your network. The LED flashes green to indicate network activity on a particular port. It lights up solid when an Ethernet cable is plugged in to the Ethernet port, and OFF when there is no connected Ethernet cable.
Internet port – Connect an Ethernet cable (also called a network or Internet cable) to this port and to your modem. The LED flashes green to indicate network activity between the modem and the router. It is solid green when an Ethernet cable is connected to the router’s Internet port, and OFF when there is no connected Ethernet cable on the Internet port.
Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ (WPS) – If you have client devices such as wireless printers that support Wi-Fi Protected Setup™, you can press the WPS button to automatically configure wireless security for your wireless network. To learn more about WPS, click here. The LED stays steadily ON following a successful WPS connection or when wireless security is enabled. It flashes slowly during WPS for up to two (2) minutes and it flashes quickly when there is a WPS error.
Power (Green) – The Power LED turns green when the router is powered ON. To power ON the router, simply attach the power cord into the Power port of the device and plug the other end into a power outlet. To power it OFF, unplug the power adapter from the power outlet. The LED stays steadily ON while power is connected and flashes slowly during bootup, firmware upgrades, and factory reset. However, if it flashes quickly, it means that an error was found during system self-test.
Power – The Power port connects to the included power adapter.
Reset button – This button is located at the bottom of the router. This allows you to reset the router to its factory defaults. Press and hold the Reset button for approximately five (5) seconds.
