Configuring the Scheduler on the Linksys Wireless-N300 and N600 Access Points with PoE

The Scheduler is a feature on the Linksys Wireless-N300 and N600 Access Points with PoE (LAPN300 and LAPN600) that allows you to manage your wireless network by time.  By configuring the Scheduler feature, you can enjoy the following advantages:
  • Configure a rule with a specific time interval for SSIDs to be operational
  • Automate enabling or disabling SSIDs based on the profile definition
  • Supports up to 16 profiles and each profile can include four (4) time rules  
This article will guide you on how to configure the Scheduler feature on your Linksys Wireless-N300 and N600 Access Points with PoE.  Follow the steps below.
 
Step 1:
Access the web-based setup page.  For detailed instructions, click here.
 
Step 2:
Click the Configuration tab.
 

Step 3:
Click Wireless on the left hand sidebar then click Scheduler.
 

Step 4:
Check the Enable box and create new profile name then click the Add button.
 

Step 5:
On the Profile Name section, click the drop down arrow and select the profile name you have created.
 

Step 6:
Configure the day and time you prefer then click Save.
 

Step 7:
Click Scheduler Association.
 

Step 8:
Select your SSID and profile name to associate then click Save.
 
You should now have configured the Scheduler feature on your Linksys Wireless-N Access Points with PoE.
