How to turn OFF Two Step Verification

Two Step Verification requires a six-digit verification code when logging in via the Linksys app or the LinksysSmartWiFi.com page using your Linksys cloud account, which provides peace of mind and an additional layer of security to all users.

Once you have enabled the Two Step Verification, you will be prompted to enter a code whenever you log in to the Linksys app from an unfamiliar device.  If for some reason you choose to disable this feature, you can follow the steps below to know how.

NOTE:  Steps, images, and options may vary on the operating system you are using.
 
Step 1:
Log in to the Linksys app or the LinksysSmartWiFi.com page using your Linksys cloud account.
 
Step 2:
If you are using the Linksys app, tap on Account, while on LinksysSmartWiFi.com, click My Account.

Step 3:
On the 2-Step Verification portion, toggle one or both the Email and Text Message delivery methods to the OFF position.

Step 4:
Select Turn off or Turn Off.  Keep in mind that if you choose to disable a delivery method, you will need to reverify it if you decide to enable it again.
