Resolving snapshots that cannot be saved from a web user interface playback

A snapshot that cannot be saved from a web user interface playback results from a System Error Code 5.  This error means that the access is denied to the network video recorder's (NVR) user interface.  This error code may also display as ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED or as the value 0x5.
To save an image file to a certain folder or a remote computer when using the web user interface playback, the user may need an administrator authorization from the Internet Explorer.
Although a user enters the computer as an administrator, the system default is using normal user authorization to run Internet Explorer.  Basically, computers with Windows 7 and Windows 8 operating system might encounter this problem.

To use Internet Explorer with administrator authorization, follow these steps:
Step 1:
Click the Pearl button or the Start menu.
Step 2:
Right-click on the Internet Explorer icon and select Run as administrator.  An Internet Explorer window will be opened.
