Before you begin
- Make sure that the child node you are about to set up is in its factory state.
- DO NOT reset the parent node.
- Make sure that the parent node is within the range to the child node you will set up.
- If the child node has been previously set up, it needs to be reset to its factory settings.
NOTE: Before resetting a previously set up child node, make sure that it completely boots up showing a purple or blue light. Attempting to factory reset a node immediately after power cycling, when the light is not yet purple or blue, will not work. For more information, click here.
