Setting up Port Forwarding on the Linksys WRT32X

Port Forwarding rules send traffic from specific ports or ranges of ports to specific connected devices.
 
This article will guide you on how to set up port forwarding for your Linksys WRT32X.

 
Step 1:
Log in to the web interface.  For instructions, click here.
 
Step 2:
On the web interface, click Advanced Settings > Port Forwarding.

Step 3:
Click Add new port forwarding rule +.

Step 4:
To configure your port forwarding rules, follow the guide below.
  • Enable – Toggle to turn OFF/ON the port forwarding feature.
  • Description – Enter a name for your rule.
  • IP Address – Enter an IP Address for your device.
  • Port Start – Enter a starting port number. 
  • Port End – Enter an ending port number.  
  • Protocol – Select protocol/s. The default protocol is Any.
NOTE:  There are  different port numbers and protocols for specific games, contact your manufacturer's support for your game console's exact settings.

NOTE:  To turn OFF a rule, slide the Enabled switch to the OFF position.

To delete a rule, click Remove.

Step 5:
Click Save.

You have now configured your port forwarding rules for Linksys WRT32X.
