The Linksys MR9000 Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 5 Router is an intelligent mesh compatible router that supports both parent and child modes.  The recommended method to manage and set up your mesh router is using the Linksys app.  This article will provide an overview of the Linksys MR9000's web interface when in router mode.

Description
Device List
Displays the list of connected devices.

Guest Access
Guest Access allows you to configure your Guest Wi-Fi settings.

Parental Controls
Parental Controls is used to manage bandwidth usage and block internet access on a connected device or specific sites per device.

Device Prioritization
Device Prioritization allows you to prioritize internet usage per device.  High Priority devices (wired or wireless) will always stay connected.  Normal Priority devices share the leftover capacity.  Drag and drop devices to change priority.

Speed Check
Speed Check is a helpful feature that measures the download (from the internet) and upload (to the internet) speeds of your Wi-Fi.  This tool is useful in knowing whether you are getting the level of service provided by your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

Connectivity
The Connectivity page has the following tabs:
  • The Basic tab allows you to update your Admin Password, check for a Firmware Update and change your Time Zone.

  • The Internet Settings tab allows you to change your Connection Type, MTU Size, and enable MAC Address Clone.

The Troubleshooting page allows you to diagnose and troubleshoot problems you may be having in your network.  It provides useful information about your connected devices and network details.
